CONVERT TO SERVICEABLE
A SECOND LIFE TO WORN SHOCK ABSORBERS
OE shock absorbers are designed not to be serviceable, hence any gas leak, oil leak or piston rod damage means it's gone for good.
The conversion service allows worn absorbers to have a second life. Conversion service will reuse the OE shock absorbers provided by users, putting them through machining and overhaul process, whereby worn parts are replaced before being injected with fresh oil & gas. The converted shock absorbers come with settings specially designed for local road condition, and with the serviceable structure that allows overhaul, the worn shock absorbers are ready to hit the road again .
SETTING
REBOUND & DAMPING MODIFICATION
The standard factory setting is designed for everyday city driving. For users with special preference on soft/hardness, user can opt for a setting upgrade service offered by the manufacturer to suit their personal driving styles.
The upgrade in setting allows a brand new driving experience in terms of comfort and control as it is modified accordingly to one's preference.
REMOTE RESERVOIR
ADDITIONAL VOLUME, EXTRA COOLING
With the increased oil capacity and gas volume, the remote reservoir highly enhance the shock absorber's performance.
Overheating is a critical issue that affects the shock absorber's ability in dampening the motion correctly. Additional oil capacity aids in lowering temperature, hence preventing issues with overheating. Extra gas volume helps rebound and damping valves to retain consistency even under rough road conditions.
OVERHAUL
SERVICE AND PARTS REPLACEMENT
Shock absorbers can become worn over time. Moreover, heat generated during driving will cause oil to degrade. Hence overhaul service is crucial to maintain its performance.
Visual inspection is one of the easiest methods to identify the need for overhaul service. A shock absorber covered in oil is a good indication that overhaul service or replacement is needed. Overhaul service is available for home brand (HWL) or other (KW, HKS, H&R etc), twin tube or mono.
